Having made their US debut at this year’s SXSW festival, Scottish DIY folk quintet, Found, have most definitely been discovered following their humble beginnings at Gray’s School of Art in our fair city. The band offer up a slice of Electro dance-pop at its best, which has garnered them rave reviews for their ‘Fidelities EP’ as well as ‘Ones to Watch’ accolades. And with support from local favourites, Indian Red Lopez, this gig promises to be hotter than Guy Fawkes himself.

This is a massive show for the venue. Tickets are on sale now from Cafe Drummonds, 1 Belmont Street during opening hours (12 noon – 2am). The online allocation is sold out.

The band obviously don’t need much of an introduction. Signed to the legendary Sub Pop label, the Seattle grunge outfit formed in 1988. Over the years they have released eight studio albums which has seen them rise to the forefront in terms of influencing bands of the future. This is going to be a fantastic night of entertainment including an official aftershow party.

And, with their punk-pop perkiness, they could be the perfect soundtrack for your summer. Having only formed in 2006, the quartet have already supported Go:Audio, Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly and Newton Faulkner, as well as graced the stage of Wembley Stadium. They’ve recently completed a sell-out UK tour and their debut EP sold an impressive 5,000 copies. And if all of the above wasn’t reason enough, then their merchandise should be – super kawaii!

Leeds lads, The Plight, are hard rock heavies that have been busy making a name for themselves whilst sharing the stage with bands such as Gallows, Converge and Cancer Bats. With album, ‘Winds of Osiris’, out now and a full UK tour underway, many more fans will undoubtedly be joining The Plight.
